Clinically, we strive to provide exceptional patient care throughout all fields of nuclear medicine, diagnostic and interventional radiology, incorporating the values of innovation, integrity, and inclusiveness. Educationally, our goal is to enhance the health of citizens of Illinois and the nation by respectfully teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. In addition, we are committed to supporting a culture of cutting-edge research in our efforts to advance medical care locally, regionally and nationally.
Finally, the department faculty and trainees are committed to the service mission, serving the needs of our patients, community, state, and nation through multiple levels of involvement at these levels.

As a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, accredited by the American College of Radiology, UI Health’s Evelyn Goldberg Center for Mammography provides comprehensive and high-quality breast imaging and interventional services. Our fellowship-trained radiologists provide screening and diagnostic breast imaging and breast MRI interpretation, as well as breast biopsies and other procedures. Our Breast Imaging Center works closely with UI Health’s Center for Breast Care, a multidisciplinary team designed to seamlessly manage patients in need of care for benign breast conditions, as well as treatment for breast cancer.
